Winter in Boulder is
surprising. Hotels offer their lowest rates, there isn't much snow
on the ground and CU is in session giving the town hip, young
energy. The city is compact with an intimate small-town feel and
very walker-friendly. If the weather is warm, bike rides and hikes
are the norm. The shops, galleries, restaurants and breweries are
just outside hotel room doors.
Boulder Ski Escape - The Boulder
Ski Escape program resonates with skiers who are looking for more
accessible, easier, and less expensive ski vacations. Boulder is
located in the center of the US, just 35 minutes from Denver and 45
minutes from the Denver International Airport. Lodging - with lift
tickets at Eldora Mountain Resort - starts at $67.50 per person for
a one-night stay. That's less than the price of just a lift ticket
at most ski areas. The rates are good all season, including the
holiday weeks and weekends. Some deals even include breakfast and
transportation.
