Ghost Talk Ghost Walk
Savannah's Original Ghost Walk Tour
(Savannah, Georgia)
Ghost Talk Ghost Walk offers a one of a kind experience that
no other ghost tour can offer. Enjoy the regular Ghost Walk
and hear the legends that lie beneath the haunting tales of
Savannah, and on Saturday and Sunday evenings reserve space
on a special tour that includes an after hour visit to the Juliette Gordon Low House, Savannah's first National
Landmark. Costumed guides will transport you back in time as
you listen to the romantic legend of General Gordon's ghost.
Your spine will tingle if you are one of the lucky ones
there when the haunted window blinds start to move all on
their own.
This is your opportunity to get an
insider's look at this beautiful historic home, and you'll
be glad to know that you've helped restore an important
landmark in American and Savannah history, at the same time.
Ghost Talk Ghost Walk donates $5.00 from each special tour
ticket sale, to the house operations and restoration fund.
Ghost Talk Ghost Walk offers regular
nightly tours. Leisurely walk through Savannah's beautiful
historic district, under the cover of darkness with Spanish
Moss dripping from a canopy of live oaks and listen as your
guide tells tales of swashbuckling pirates, friendly ghosts
and even exorcisms. Ghost stories past and present are the
focus of this informative tour and children are always
welcome.
This is Savannah's original ghost tour, initially
started in the 1980's as a special preservation tour. Ghost Talk
Ghost Walk was created with the cooperation of Margaret DeBolt, the
author of Savannah Spectres, Savannah's leading book on ghosts.
Ghost Talk Ghost Walk has since become one of the city's most
popular tours and has been featured on The History Channel, in The
New York Times Travel & Leisure Magazine and is highly recommended
by Fodor's, Frommer's and Birnbaum's guidebooks.
Ghost Talk Ghost Walk offers ghost tours every
evening at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., departing from the John Wesley
Monument in Reynolds Square, right in the heart of Historic
Savannah. Tours are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
The special tours on Saturday and Sunday are $15 for adults and $10
for children 12 and under and include the Juliette Gordon Low House.
Reservations are required.
